Save Our Shoreline organized a community meeting on the February 28 in Muskegon to discuss how they might best influence the future of a 120-acre site with nearly a mile of Muskegon Lake shoreline. The meeting was attended by about 75 citizens.
The current owner is planning to continue the property’s industrial use. But all present at the meeting were ready to take aggressive action to change the course of the redevelopment plans for the former Sappi paper mill property. For more information see news coverage at mlive.com.
